The world economy is expected to recover and the international financial market is stabilizing. However, many PCB manufacturers in China are forced to face a new crisis of "order shifting". On the one hand, those small and medium-sized PCB manufacturing enterprises that rely on OEM can no longer absorb the rising cost pressure brought by the financial crisis; On the other hand, the serious shortage of workers makes many enterprises face the awkward situation of not being able to work alone, and at the same time, with the increase of factory wage costs, the operating input pressure of enterprises is also increasing. How to effectively solve these new crises has become a serious problem for PCB manufacturers.

It is reported that in 2010, the PCB industry in coastal areas alone was short of 200,000 people. Due to the serious shortage of workers, many companies have been actively engaged in the "recruitment" campaign since the beginning of the year. Yet, despite rising wage costs, it is hard to retain workers. In addition, PCB manufacturers that have developed in the OEM(OEM) mode of production have to absorb the impact of the financial crisis, but also have to face the impact of higher production factor prices, resource and energy shortages and high consumption, resulting in higher processing costs and reduced price advantages. At present, some multinational companies have begun to transfer their orders to low-cost Southeast Asian and South Asian countries such as Vietnam, Shupuzhai, Bangladesh, Thailand and so on. In the absence of a significant contraction in demand, cancelling orders from China is bound to be replaced elsewhere.

According to the survey data, Japanese lT companies have shifted their PCB orders to Thailand, and Thai PCB~fJ manufacturers are becoming more competitive. In addition, the output value of PCB in Southeast Asia has reached N30 ~ 3.5 billion US dollars, of which Thailand accounts for 30 ~ 40% of the total. There are various indications that Southeast Asian countries are threatening the status of "world factory" with their low cost advantage. In the new situation, PCB manufacturers should actively transform, and put the main energy into brand construction, independent design, create their own brand.
