Manz announces the industry's fastest-growing wet process equipment
Manz, a high-tech industry integration solution provider, will participate in the SNEC2012 6th International Solar Industry and Photovoltaic Engineering (Shanghai) Exhibition and Forum (Booth: E3 Hall, 310), which will showcase its latest crystalline silicon solar cell wet process equipment. :IPSGCEI4800. The device is primarily used to remove highly doped layers on the back and edges of the wafer to create chemical edge isolation (CEI) and to remove the phosphorous-silicon glass (PSG) that was formed on the front side of the wafer during the previous diffusion process. Manz founder and CEO Dieter Manz said: "With the new wet process equipment, we really filled the gap that Manz had previously lost in the photovoltaic process." The newly developed sponge roller process enables faster straight-through Conveying not only delivers wafers smoothly, but also ensures higher process stability.
As the name of IPSGCEI4800 shows, its output can be as high as 4,800 pieces per hour. The device will be bundled with the ManzSpeedPicker for loading/unloading silicon. Manz will also launch new vacuum coating equipment and texturing equipment in September this year, and strive to become a supplier of full-process equipment.
On May 15th, the day before the opening of SNEC2012, Manz's new plant in Suzhou will officially open, and IPSGCEI4800 will be officially put into operation at the plant. With the company's 20 years of experience in the wet process field, Manz will provide cost-effective products with local prices and German quality as key customers with more efficient services.
