Manz (Manz Automation, ETR: M5Z), a high-tech industry integration solution provider, will participate in the SNEC2012 6th International Solar Energy Industry and Photovoltaic Engineering (Shanghai) Exhibition and Forum (Booth: E3 Hall 310), which will showcase its latest Crystalline silicon solar cell wet process equipment: IPSG CEI 4800.
It is reported that the device is mainly used to remove the highly doped layer on the back and edges of the wafer, thereby generating chemical edge isolation (CEI), and also removing the phosphorous silicon glass (PSG) generated on the front side of the wafer during the previous diffusion process. Mr. Dieter Manz, founder and CEO of Manz, said: “With the new wet process equipment, we have truly filled Manz's previous missing parts in the PV process.” The newly developed sponge roller process enables faster straight forwards. The conveyor delivers smooth transfer of wafers while ensuring higher process stability.
As the name of the IPSG CEI 4800 shows, its output can be as high as 4,800 pieces per hour. The device will be bundled with the Manz SpeedPicker for loading/unloading silicon. In addition, Manz will launch new vacuum coating equipment and texturing equipment in September this year, and strive to become a supplier of full-process equipment.
It is understood that Manz's new plant in Suzhou will officially open on May 15th, and its IPSG CEI 4800 will be officially put into operation at the plant. With over 20 years of experience in the wet process, Manz will provide cost-effective products with local prices and German quality to its customers with more efficient services.
At 11 am on May 16th, Manz will hold a special IPSG CEI 4800 unveiling ceremony at its booth at No. 310 E3. Relevant technical experts will give a detailed introduction to product expertise. Manz is committed to providing integrated solutions for the manufacture of crystalline silicon solar cells and thin film solar cell modules. At SNEC 2012, Manz will bring its full range of cutting-edge innovative system solutions to help more Chinese users achieve High performance and low cost goals.
